The PosiTector UTG measures the wall thickness of materials such as steel, plastic and more using ultrasonic technology. The UTG-C (Corrosion) model is ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion on tanks, pipes or any structure where access is limited to one side. The more advanced multiple echo UTG-M (Thru-Paint) model measures the metal thickness of a painted structure without having to remove the coating.

Select from two gauge options: Standard or Advanced model.

All gauges come complete with body and probe, couplant, protective rubber holster with belt clip, wrist strap, batteries, instructions, nylon carrying case with shoulder strap, protective lens shield, long form Certificate of Calibration traceable to NIST, USB cable, PosiTector.net account and a two (2) year warranty.

Gauge body universally accepts the PosiTector 6000 coating thickness probe for metal substrates, the SPG surface profile probe, the DPM dew point and temperature probe, the UTG ultrasonic thickness probe and the PosiTector 200 coating thickness probe for non metal substrates. A kit option including sturdy carry case and accessories is also available with your choice of probes to suit your applications.
