High precision destructive S2000 measuring system
The carbide method hygrometer (Classic Model) operates using the high precision destructive S2000 measuring system for detecting moisture in concrete, sand, cement and other bricky materials. The water present in the sample reacts (chemically) with calcium carbide. This produces pressure in the vessel, which is proportioned to the residual moisture content. Insensitive to external influences, the unit always displays the right value.
Supplied as complete set in a carry case with balance, pressure cylinder, calcium carbide and cleaning tools.
